Staggerov: filming (part2) and 'Emily' Scripts

Hello beautiful people of the world!

We finished the filming of 'Staggerov' today. So, editing will begin A.S.A.P in time for Cannes. Meaningwhile we shall start to write the scripts for 'Emily', 13 episodes ready for this time next year! not a huge amount of news, I know but hey, it's news all the same.

So finally we would just like so say a huge thank you to Rob and Kyle Bryant, who did an outstanding job on their performances, and truely helped bring the characters to life.

As well as our actors, thanks also go to CineWessex (based here in Winchester), in particular Joe Conlan, for their help with booking the camera and tripod for the film. We certainly couldn't have done it without you all.

Thank You

Liam Bowles and Katie Overstall

Staggerov: filming

Hi everyone,

today we have been filming the footage we needed for 'Staggerov'. Filming is being wrapped up as I type and editing shall start as soon as we get back to college. In related news, we have considered all our options for which film festival to enter, and after watching a very odd film about a race with a one-eyed cat which was shown last year, we have decided to enter the famous Cannes film festival (short section of course). We'll keep you posted on this as we go.

Cameraness

Liam and I went and picked up the camera today (amongst other things). It's currently sitting in my spare room.

I like it. It's big and really heavy, but I like it. And it can do HD. I like it a lot.

So I get tomorrow to play with it, and then we film on Sunday. No doubt one of us (or possibly both) will let you know how that goes.

What other things did we do today? Well, we wrote a script, checked out locations, chatted about Emily and took a well deserved break. Pokemon was played. Serious stuff peeps.

Oh we also decided "Homeward Bound" was no longer a suitable name, so we've provisionally re-entitled the short film "Staggerov". All will soon become clear I hope.

Ciao for now.

Good Evening

Well well, Liam has been busy in my absence. I ran away to Spain for a couple of weeks at the most inopportune time possible, so this is me hello and apology.

Seems like Liam's already done most of the ground work, so I'll just tell you that I've started collecting beer bottles and am dead excited about this weekend.

Other than that, not much to say, so I'll be off. Just to reiterate what Liam's already said: if you want to contact us, email is:

lakiasproductions@live.co.uk

Or you could always try me at my other home.

Ciao for now.

Special Thank You

hello eveyone,

I wish to post a quick thank you to the guys and cinewessex, particularly Joe, who have been great with the camera hire and have greatly helped us stay within budget on 'Homewood Bound', no doubt we couldn't do it without your willingness to haggle.

Emily

Hello everyone,

I am proud to announce that 'Mary And The Black Lamb', the band that inspired the story of 'Emily', are as excited as we are about the shows concept. As i have said previously, Katie and I should hopefully start scripting soon and if everything goes to plan, the scripts for a 13 part series shall be done by June next year if not before. In the mean time however, check out the bands website, the address is below.

Tv Series Idea : Writing The pilot

Hello people of the world.

So I am announcing a TV show idea. The plan so far is that of a dark sci-fi show set in the modern day. So far, the style is very much of the American Sci-fi shows and we shall see how that goes, so once 'Homewood Bound' is finished, I expect Katie and I shall co-write the script. But for now, I leave you to ponder the dark, murderous mystery of a girl named Emily...

...Run for Your Life, Emily's coming to play...

Short: Homewood Bound

Hey everyone, preporation has started today on our first short film, 'Homewood Bound'. Actors shouldn't be a problem though that still needs to be finalised. We're looking to film on August 23rd (shouldn't take too long, so one day is enough) and record the voice-overs either the same day or certainly that week. We're looking to enter this into one of the January film festivals so, fingers crossed, everythings goes to plan. I would reveal more of the plot but, well, you'll have to wait and see...
